Tobi is our Chief Executive Officer with over 20 years of demonstrated history leading Abaxa in the civil engineering industry.
Tobi holds a Bachelor in Business Management and Public Relations, and is skilled and endorsed in Business Strategy, Business Planning, General Management, Operations Management, Project Management, Coaching, Negotiation and Construction.
Tobi takes a very hands-on approach to staff and client management, meeting of KPI’s and ensuring clients’ objectives are met.
Boyd, Technical Director
Boyd is our Technical Director, with over 22 years in the Civil Industry specialising in Utilities and High Pressure Gas Supervision.
With his extensive accreditation and training in the niche industry of Utility Locating, Boyd’s specialised knowledge provides invaluable support and expertise when navigating the Utility Industry’s Duty of Care Requirements.
In addition, Boyd’s vast network and construction experience provide an unparalleled level of knowledge in both the planning and delivering of utility surveys within the fields of Civil Engineering and Construction.
Andrew, Business Development Manager
Andrew is our Business Development Manager, heading up Client Relationship Management and our Account Management team. Andrew brings 9 years of extensive industry knowledge and experience from managing Utility Industry Training with Coates Hire and Staking University, Utility Manager and most recently State Manager at Vac Group in NSW.
With this specific industry experience, a deep understanding of AS5488 including utility locating and survey, Andrew manages our business development, account management and tendering for Abaxa, delivering outstanding value to our client base in collaboration on service solutions that coupled with the Abaxa Brand Promises keep projects moving, on time and budget.
A Bachelor in Education, Diploma in Management, Diploma in Surveying, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Damage Investigation certificate, provides our team with an unparalleled leader in the Industry space and our valued clients this leader in industry risk based service solution that ultimately protect people and infrastructure.
Peadar, Operations Manager
Peadar enthusiastically manages the safety and risk of the Field Delivery Resource Team. He does so using leadership, proactive technical training and quality control by way of site inspections.
With over a decade of construction industry experience, Peadar sets high standards in protecting people and infrastructure and in reducing asset risk. He also takes pride in project execution in line with the Australian Standards AS5488 in Sub Surface Utility Information.
Peadar also maintains a focus on communication. This enhances asset protection in both his, and his team’s, client-handover procedure and detailed risk-based utility reporting.
As a result, all client site issues are managed from a proactive position, whereby problems are solved to final resolution, and key insights for preventative future action are clearly reported.
Peadar’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering & Bachelor of Engineering in Construction/Civil Works.
Lisa, Administration Leader
Lisa, our Administration Manager, has been with Abaxa for 8 years. She oversees Abaxa’s administrative and support functions.
Not only is she experienced in almost all key business areas -including our people and culture management – but Lisa is also across our finance and commercial administration, as well as the requisite ISO compliance procedures.
Lisa holds a Certificate II and III in Business Administration and is currently progressing towards her Certificate IV in Leadership & Management.
Demonstrating a great deal of passion in her role, Lisa provides efficient and timely solutions to our front line teams. Her assistance ensures clients projects keep moving forward. Lisa also implements continual improvements to Abaxa’s processes in response to any client issues and suggestions.
Jean, Customer Success Manager
Jean’s role at Abaxa includes 11 years of direct experience in Client Service and Success Management.
Jean holds a Certificate IV Front Line Management & Certificate IV in OHS and is passionate about developing and maintaining a well-coordinated, win-win relationship with key decision-makers within our key client accounts at Abaxa.
She is diligent to ensure all our client’s needs and contractual requirements are met. She also conducts assessments to gauge how well Abaxa’s efficiency measures up to client expectations.
Jean leads her team by example by serving our clients with the highest level of customer service and relationship nurturing.
